This awesome Zinnia flower is thought to be the first flower grown in space, although there have been reports of a sunflower that was grown out of a plastic bag in the space station. The cool thing about the Zinnia flower is that it is edible and can be grown without soil. The possibility of growing flowers and plants in space is awesome because it is one step closer to learning about the idea of living in space.
